Readers of Rolling Stone voted U2's Joshua Tree the Number 1 album of the 80's followed by Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction in a recent poll conducted by the magazine. Usually I ignore anything that comes out of Rolling Stone because I just don't feel like they're in touch with the times and when they do finally get around to covering a band magazines like Decibel and Revolver have been covering for years they act like they broke the band. But, since we're talking about the 80's then I guess they're kinda relevant. Anyway...here's their Top 10:

1. U2 - The Joshua Tree
2. Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction
3. Michael Jackson - Thriller
4. Bruce Springsteen - Born In The U.S.A.
5. Prince - Purple Rain
6. AC/DC - Back In Black
7. The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead
8. The Clash - London Calling
9. The Cure - Disintegration
10. Metallica - Master Of Puppets
