Rock School #7 [VIDEO]

What’s up with whistling?  It’s about time for somebody to pucker up and blow us a new tune.  One of the biggest songs of the 90’s and one of the biggest songs of the 80’s featured whistling.  Surprisingly both whistling songs came from hard rock/heavy metal bands trying their hands at ballads.  Can you name either of the two tunes I’m referring to?

We don’t know what the hell the wind was blowing through Gorky Park, but we know the Scorpions were whistling about the “Winds of Change”.  I’ll bet you got the second tune-it was Axl Rose puckering up on “Patience”. I’ll now whet your whistle for rock with the two videos.
