Rise Against ‘I Don’t Want to be Here Anymore’ – Crank It or Yank It?

July 15 will see the release of Rise Against's seventh album, The Black Market. Ahead of the release we get a little taste of what is to come with the first single from the record.

'I Don't Want to be Here Anymore' is pretty much what I've come to expect from Rise Against. High-energy, yet accessible punk rock with catchy-as-hell vocals is what the Chicago four piece do best, so as the old adage goes - if ain't broke, don't fix it.

Rise Against have amassed a huge fan base without a ton of radio play over the years. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the band's feelings if 'I Don't Want to be Here Anymore' had a good, long run at the top of the charts. Give the tune a spin and share your thoughts below.
