America, f*** yeah!

The bald eagle has become the symbol for America and on July 4th we're feeling super patriotic. We wouldn't want anything bad to happen to a bald eagle. Unfortunately, one became tangled in some rope. He got stuck in a tree seventy feet in the air in Minnesota. According to officials, the eagle had been stuck up there for days and there was nothing they could do.

That wasn't good enough for U.S. Army veteran Jason Galvin who used a .22-caliber rifle to try and shot the rope the bird was trapped in. After several hours and several shots, Jason somehow freed the eagle. Without hitting the eagle with a single bullet.

The eagle is recovering at the University of Minnesota's Raptor Center. Jason and his wife have named the eagle 'Freedom' and it looks like he is going to be just fine. Allow me to go blast Hulk Hogan's theme song, as I drink some beer after writing all this.
