Redskins Public Relations Nightmare with Twitter Hashtag

As a Cowboys fan it is nice to see when the Redskins do something absolutely stupid that blows up in their face.

A debate that I feel has been going on my entire life, is the Redskins name racist. I would say the majority of people would agree that it is. However, the past few years the Redskins have been getting a lot of pressure from Congress to change their name. Well one Senator that has really been trying to get the name change is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Who just just sent a letter to the NFL office asking them to force Dan Snyder to change the name.

Well the Redskins decided to do something stupid on Twitter. Tweet Senator Reid using the #RedskinsPride to show him what the name means to you. Well the overwhelming response from this was that the name was racist. I put a few of my favorites below, but seriously Dan Snyder I think a name change is coming sooner than you think.
