September will mark the twentieth anniversary of Nirvana's third and final studio album, In Utero, and if they follow the path set out by the twentieth anniversary of Nevermind, we can expect all sorts of cool extras like archival recordings, demos, rarities, interviews and more. And while it hasn't been officially announced, it is reported that they are working on such a box set.

While that's all fine and dandy, let's not forget why you're here. A rare commercial from 1993 for In Utero has surfaced online and you want to see it. The commercial is made to look like an older TV advertisement and features comedian Bobcat Goldthwait dressed in drag as a "militant" birthing instructor as he coaches Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl into shooting out plastic baby dolls from their downstairs area.

Excluding the track "You Know You're Right," a previously unreleased cut that appeared on the box set With The Lights Out, producer of Nirvana's Nevermind album Butch Vig said a while back that he didn't think that there was a lot of music left in the Nirvana vaults, saying, "It's a shame that there's -- you know, that's like the last maybe great track. There's still a few raw things I know that haven't come out yet. But there's not a lot of stuff left out there that's as good as that."

Check out the commercial below and be on the lookout for some sort of anniversary release from Nirvana this September.
