Movie companies, musicians and celebrities say they're not going to support anything in North Carolina due to this new law.

The law in North Carolina that is making national headlines for it's HB 2, the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act. The law requires transgender people (and everyone else) to use public restrooms according to the biological sex on their birth certificate. That's the most basic description of the law I could find.

I have seen musicians say they're not going to perform in North Carolina. Some film companies have pulled projects that are filmed in the state. The latest thing being pulled from North Carolina is their porn. XHamster said, as of Monday, anyone with a North Carolina IP address will not have access to their site.

XHamster said this in a statement:

"We are appalled by the recent events that have transpired in North Carolina. We have spent the last 50 years fighting for equality for everyone and these laws are discriminatory which XHamster.com does not tolerate. As of today, access to XHamster.com is blacked out in the state of North Carolina until further notice. Judging by the stats of what you North Carolinians watch, we feel this punishment is a severe one. We will not standby and pump revenue into a system that promotes this type of garbage. We respect all sexualities and embrace them."
