Papa Roach recently released a behind-the-scenes video, talking about their upcoming album The Connection. Now they have a follow-up video with additional footage which chronicles the surgery that Jacoby Shaddix recently went through to remove nodes from his vocal cords.

Shaddix talks about the fears that he had going into surgery, and the road that took him to that point. The video also shows other members of the band discussing what happened, as well as his vocal coach weighing in on what they tried to do to prevent going under the knife.

The video ends with the words “To be continued,” which implies there will be yet another video released in the near future. In the meantime, Shaddix has stated that his recovery is going well, and he’s looking forward to singing again.

The Connection hits stores on Tuesday, October 2nd.
