This goes in the “little bird told me” category. You should not take any of these things to heart. These are just rumors of possible tours and it doesn’t even mean the shows are coming to our area. It’s just cool to think about the possibilities of some of these lineups happening. More after the jump.
Sometimes the only way you can “be there’ is through film or a telecast of some sort. For me, I find most concert broadcasts to be lacking in the energy of a live show. I, however REALLY enjoyed the Red Hot Chili Peppers “I’m With You” broadcast, The AC/DC “No Bull” in Spain dvd and and the Slipknot Disaster Pieces dvd. What about you? In between their Soundwave Festival performances in February and March, System of a Down also played a few headlining shows in Australia. The recent show on Feb. 29 in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena turned into a star-studded event.
Slipknot are currently on tour in Australia with a million other awesome bands for the 2012 Soundwave Festival. Drummer Joey Jordison sat down with SoundwaveFestTV to speak about topics such as their love for Australian fans, their determination as a band and the death of bassist Paul Gray.
