When CJ Ramone was approached a decade ago about possibly replacing Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, he declined the chance even though he took Dee Dee Ramone’s spot in the final years of the legendary punk band the Ramones.

Today sadly marks the 25th anniversary of Cliff Burton's death. He was without a doubt the most gifted & talented bass beatin' deity of all time. It was on this day back in 1986 while Metallica was touring overseas in support of "Master Of Puppets" he was tragically killed in an accident. T

September 15, 2011 Yeah I know I've been pretty vocal about my disappointment in the Big Four of thrash (that would be Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax if you're either a) are a noob or b) live under a rock) not playing in Texas but that doesn't mean I've given up hope or won't pass along some of the goodness of last night's show in New York City.
Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine obviously lives by the motto “the show must go on.”
After reportedly spending Tuesday in a hospital bed due to a neck-related injury, Mustaine and his band rocked Yankee Stadium in New York on Wednesday night along with fellow Big 4 bands Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer.
But prior to the concert, Mustaine dropped some heavy news: he needs surgery to fix the damage.
