Public focus has been back on Ozzy Osbourne with the upcoming release of the Black Sabbath album 13, and that focus has churned out rumors. Ozzy has addressed those rumors publicly, admitting on his Facebook page that he’s recently turned to alcohol and drug abuse.

A recent report in the U.K. tabloid The Sun has suggested that Ozzy and his wife Sharon were divorcing after 31 years, and in the statement he denies those rumors but states that he hasn’t been himself for the past year and a half:

Osbourne is no stranger to drugs and alcohol and spent many years as an addict, so the fact that he’s getting help is a great step in the right direction.

Black Sabbath’s album 13 will be in stores June 11, and is the first album from the band in 35 years. Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi are also a part of the reunion, with Brad Wilk from Rage Against the Machine on Drums.
