Oklahoma Town Trying to Change It’s Name Since Kevin Durant Left

The name Kevin Durant now has Oklahomans angry. A petition has come forth trying to change the name of Durant, Oklahoma. 

Petitions go up on Change.org all the time. This one has caught the attention of Oklahomans and basketball fans across the world. Someone is trying to get the town of Durant, Oklahoma to change its name. We all know the town is not named after Kevin Durant, but just the name Durant leaves a sour taste in people's mouths.

The petition calls for the town to be named Westbrook, Oklahoma. Obviously after point guard Russell Westbrook. As of this post, they have over 1,900 signatures. If you want to sign, the link is here for you. My only question is if this happens. What do you do if Westbrook leaves?
