On the Bad Witch EP, Nine Inch Nails embraced abrasiveness, so it seems appropriate that when they're brought back one of their heaviest songs on their new tour, which kicked off last night. "Happiness in Slavery," which first appeared on 1992 Broken EP, was performed live for the first time in nearly 23 years as the band kicked off their "Cold and Black and Infinite" tour with The Jesus and Mary Chain at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. Watch the fan-filmed footage above.

The track was last played live on December 6, 1995 (according to setlist.fm) and it wasn't the only song from the Wish EP to rear its head for the first time in a while. "Help Me I Am In Hell" and "Suck" (which Renzor originally recorded with Pigface, and then re-recorded for Wish) made their first appearances since 2013 and the Adam and the Ants cover "Physical (You're So)" was brought back for the first time since 2009. The show featured every song off of the EP.

The "Cold and Black and Infinite" tour will carry on with a scattering of dates booked through mid-December; you can see all upcoming stops here.
