Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx recently lashed out at former ‘Growing Pains’ star Kirk Cameron after he called homosexuality “unnatural” and “detrimental” during an appearance on CNN’s ‘Piers Morgan Tonight.’ Sixx took off the gloves on his Twitter page, reacting to support same-sex marriage.

On March 2, Kirk Cameron sat down for a discussion on Piers Morgan’s CNN talk show. Morgan brought up gay marriage and asked how Cameron would address the topic to his children. Cameron replied, “I would tell my children what I believe myself. I believe that marriage was defined by God a long time ago. Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life ’till death do you part. So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don’t.”

Cameron, who once debated evolution with a picture of a “Crocoduck” continued, “I think that [homosexuality], it’s, it’s unnatural. I think that it’s, it’s detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.”

Nikki Sixx, sparked by the controversial statements, took to his Twitter page and posted the following responses to the former child star’s comments:
