Mortal Kombat: The Internet Series

Over the summer, this AMAZING short film from director Kevin Tancharoen blew up all over the internet.  The 7-minute "Mortal Kombat: Rebirth" was Tancharoen's message to Warner Bros. of what he could do with the series if he directed a reboot.  Warner Bros. took notice and has given the green light for a 10-episode web series to be written and directed by Tancharoen.  According to Bloody-Disgusting.com. the series is rumored to include Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Sub Zero, Durak, Kabal, Kitana, Mileena, Jax and Scorpion, with Michael Jai White and Ian Anthony Dale reprising their roles from the short as Jax and Scorpion respectively.  No word yet on a release date, but this is just one step closer to finally having an incredible Mortal Kombat movie!
