Middle Class Rut ‘Pick Up Your Head’ – Crank It or Yank It?

I've always said that if Rage Against the Machine and Jane's Addiction had a child, it would be Middle Class Rut. That's a good thing, since I just so happen to really dig the aforementioned bands.

The title track from the the Sacramento, California duo's sophomore album has that hard-hitting, fuzzed-out groove I've come to expect from MC Rut. Couple that with the band's duel vocals and you have a signature MC Rut track that keeps this guy coming back for more.

The band's biggest hit, 'A New Low' broke the Top 5 at alternative radio and the accompanying video has racked up well over 4 million views on YouTube.
