Rolling Stone has chosen to use a photo of alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaev as the cover of next month’s issue, and it’s raised eyebrows across the country. The magazine has issued a statement regarding the cover, yet many are understandably upset by the rock star treatment Tsarnaev is getting by being on the front cover.

Thomas Menino, mayor of Boston, has written a letter to the magazine to express his feelings about the cover:
