Things got a little physical in the Mavs vs. Thunder game last night. I was ready for an old school 90's style beat down to take place.

I was at the game last night. Supporting my Mavericks on the road in Oklahoma City. As you can see, I was in the nosebleeds. It's all good, just love going to games and hanging out with old college buddies in the area. The Mavericks were resting their starters from playing an overtime game the night before. I wasn't ready for some all star performances from the bench.

Well the bench came out swinging, literally. At some point in the first half. J.J. Barea and Westbrook went at it after a foul. Charlie Villanueva of the Mavericks came to his teammates defense and put his hands around the throat of Russel Westbrook. Watching the replay, it looks bad. The referees took a look at it as well and threw Charlie Villanueva out of the game. Barea and Westbrook both received technical fouls. That is important later.

After this, things were getting a little chippy on the court. A little before halftime, Westbrook went up for another shot. Barea fouled him and Westbrook lost it again. He was given another technical foul and thrown out of the game. My Mavericks lost 108-89. Yeah, I didn't get to see any of the starters, but still had fun. As always, go Mavs!
