When you're balancing multiple bands, you take the time you have with a project and do the most you can with it. Such is the case with Mark Tremonti, who reveals that there's actually another album good to go beyond his self-titled group's upcoming Cauterize disc.

He tells The Pulse of Radio (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), "We put together two albums. We have this album that's [coming] out, but in the same recording session we recorded another album called Dust. That's gonna be coming out who knows when, but probably within a year. So I want people to know that the record is part two of this record. It's not necessarily record three, it's just the second disc of this album. So there's two 10-song albums."

Tremonti and his bandmates ventured into the studio in 2014 with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette to work on new music. Baskette has also worked with Tremonti's other band Alter Bridge and also oversaw the Tremonti's 2012 debut All I Was, so there's a history of continuity with the producer.

The group began teasing the Cauterize album earlier this year and even invited fans to Orlando for a special listening session. In a couple of album teasers, the band has previewed the songs "Radical Change" and "Flying Monkeys." They've also debuted the lyric video for "Another Heart."

Cauterize is due June 9. Stay tuned for pre-order details on the album. And just a reminder, you can see Mark Tremonti this Saturday night (March 28) on VH1 Classic's That Metal Show. More on that here.
