Come on people. I am sick of reporting stories of fans getting beat up or shot at sporting events. This has to stop.

Turns out we have some people taking sports a little too seriously right here in Texas. I don't know if it was a Patriots and Cowboys fan fighting, but I am going to assume so. Honestly, that's how a lot of fights break out after games.

According to reports, the victim had to be air lifted to an area hospital and is alive. The victim's name was not immediately available, but eye witnesses said the two men fought before the shooting. “I didn’t think he was going to pull the trigger,” witness Lester Peters told the paper.

Now, I always support my teams on the road and wear their apparel. I have gone to OKC to watch the Mavs play. Watched the Orioles down here and even been to a Cowboys game in Philadelphia. I have dealt with some s*** rooting for the away team, but that's the FUN in going to a sporting event.

You deal with it. I have never gotten so pissed off at someone at a game that I thought about shooting them. I laugh off their comment and usually come back with a smart comment of my own. It's a nice back and forth, by the end of the game, I am sometimes really cool with someone who may not be a fan of my team. Which is awesome.

Hell, an Eagles fan bought me a beer because I was so cool with all the crap I had to deal with at that game. An Eagles fan, buying a Cowboys fan beer. I thought hell would freeze over before that would happen. Don't get me wrong, a lot of a**holes are still at that stadium.
