I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love morons. Without them life would be dull. Every week I scour the internet to find the dumbest of the dumb, and this guy gets my gold star for the week.

It seems that some men were planning some break-ins in upstate New York. While discussing their plans for their crimes, one of them pocket dialed 911, giving police all the details of their heist.

As a dispatcher relayed the conversation to deputies, the men discussed their plans, described their surroundings and even commented, "there go the cops now."

The men, of course, were arrested and face grand larceny and stolen property charges.

You know, sometimes I'm watching a show like CSI and I wonder how anybody gets away with crime these days, but maybe that's just me knowing that I'd do something stupid and get caught if I ever actually decided to attempt a criminal act. Yet it's not always the police who are solving the case, just as we see in this story.

But I'm still left wondering... Does their area have one of those crime watch set-ups where they're given a cash award for information leading to the arrest or capture of someone who's committed a crime? Would he be eligible for a cash reward for leading to his own arrest?
