Listen to a College Basketball Announcer Freak Out Over a Routine Play [VIDEO]

Man these over-the-top announcers who have started to pop up over the last few years really get on my nerves. I remember popping in Madden 11 when it first came out and hearing Gus Johnson for the first time and all I could think was, "Does someone really like this guy?". Apparently so because they gave him the gig (albeit short-lived since the franchise wisely moved away from him in Madden 13).

Anyway, Bucknell play-by-play dude Doug Birdsong apparently doesn't share my view of annoying play calling and does his best to emulate his heroes and freaks out over a routine lay-up as if the team just won a national championship. Nails on the chalkboard.
