Mark this date on your calendar. December 20. That's the date when the latest and greatest tale from the world's most prestigious news reporter will return in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. But the film's star, Ron Burgundy (played by Will Ferrell) is going to be busy way before that time comes. He plans on releasing his personal memoir. And when I say he I mean Ron Burgundy. Yes, you will finally be able to read how this fictional character climbed his way to the top of the news anchor mountain.

LET ME OFF AT THE TOP!: My Classy Life and Other Musings will be available on November 19 and will feature Burgundy's "never-before-told stories of his childhood" and what led him to become TV's "greatest living news anchor" as well as intimate stories about his romantic relationships, his faithful hound, Baxter, and of course, his news crew, Action 4 News Team.

In a press release, Burgundy talked about his upcoming book, saying, “I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work. I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing…I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”

The book is being published by Crown Archetype, an imprint of Random House and will coincide with the release of the movie as well as an exhibit at the Newseum, the Washington, D.C., museum dedicated to the news, media and the first amendment.

Anchorman 2 will hit theaters December 20 and features the return of the news team including Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner and according to the Internet Movie Database will also feature stars such as Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Jim Carrey, Meagan Good, Harrison Ford and many more. The film, like the first, was written by Ferrell and Adam McKay, who also directed both movies.
