Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe will reportedly be released on bail from a Czech jail, where he had been held since Wednesday (June 27) on suspicion of manslaughter. It is unclear whether he will be released today (June 30) or have to wait until Monday.

Czech website Blesk.cz reports the singer was granted his release today at his court hearing, which is related to his alleged involvement in the death of a 19-year-old fan at a 2010 show in Prague. The musician was initially arrested on manslaughter charges. He will reportedly be set free after paying a bail of 4 million Czech Koruna, which equates to approximated $200,000 U.S. Since it is the weekend and banks are closed, the singer will apparently  have to wait to pay the sum until Monday.

Blythe stands accused of either striking or pushing a fan who died 14 days later of injuries related to the incident. The band’s publicists stated, “Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved. This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head.”

Upon hearing of Blythe’s pending release, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton tweeted, “Today just turned into a FANTASTIC day!!!”

Despite making bail, Blythe still faces manslaughter charges. Should he be convicted, he could receive up to a 10-year sentence.
