What year is it? Jason Garrett in at quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. That sounds familiar.

As of right now, if Tony Romo were to get injured for the Dallas Cowboys, they would be screwed. Backup Kellen Moore messed up his ankle the other day and is out for the season. The Cowboys have practice squad quarterback Jameill Showers and rookie Dak Prescott.

This has Cowboys fans worried and the team is exploring options for a suitable backup. Romo left practice early the other day. So that moved Jameill and Dak up to second and first string. Who was gonna take snaps with the third string? That would be head coach Jason Garrett, who spent some time as a Dallas Cowboys quarterback back in the day.

Looks like the arm has still got a little something left in the tank. Don't think he could take a hit from a defensive tackle anytime soon. Still, it was a nice little story from practice the other day, but the Cowboys need to get serious. If Romo goes down again, they need a decent backup to come in and take control of that offense.
