Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis' wife Deven died earlier today (Aug. 17). The news was confirmed in a press statement:

The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy—and the privacy of those close to the family—and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time.

TMZ reports that Jonathan Davis filed for divorce from Deven in 2016, and that he filed a domestic violence restraining order against her earlier today. It reportedly would have blocked any custody of their children, as well as visitation privileges.

Additionally, the documents they obtained allegedly state that Devon had entered a sober living home but went missing last Friday (Aug. 10). Their report adds that she had dealt with alcohol issues. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed. She was 39 years old.

Jonathan and Deven married in 2004. They had two children together. Davis has most recently been doing press interviews promoting the 20-year anniversary of Korn's quintuple-platinum album Follow the Leader.
