Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme played an acoustic set at London's Meltdown Festival in London last night. And while most of his show was filled, not so surprisingly, with his band's songs, he pulled out at least one surprise.

According to QOTSA Archive, Homme performed a new song called 'Villains of Circumstance,' which kinda plays out like a typical up-and-down, swaying, glum Queens of the Stone Age track.

You can watch video of the performance above. The song runs about three and a half minutes, but for some reason it repeats midway through. So you can watch the song twice without even having to press the "play" button again. Convenient!

Homme also recruited old pal Mark Lanegan at one point to sing Lanegan's 'One Hundred Days,' which Queens of the Stone Age previously covered.
