Jessie-Brashear

Tragedy is no stranger to the busy life of a band member, but neither are miracles. And they both visited new drummer for Twicebroken Jessie Brashear on the 4th of July as he played his second show with the band.  Jessie was very unfortunate to suffer a brain hemmorhage due to a blood clot in his brain while performing.  Jessie actually finished the show and was taken to the hospital by his wife as soon as they got into town.  Thanks to skilled medical personnel at United Regional Healthcare System, Jessie is alive and recovering.  Though Jessie is not back to full mobility, the band posted an update on their Facebook page stating "Jessie was awake at 6 this morning, he's talking well...and he lifted his arm...Doctor said he is doing good..."  And after speaking with Twicebroken frontman Aaron Mullins this morning, I can tell you to look forward to more information, soon, on how you can help donate and support Jessie and his family.  At the request of the band, please keep Jessie and his family in your prayers and/or thoughts as he continues to recover and prepare for the challenges ahead.   I can promise you that they are definitely in our thoughts and prayers here at the Buzz.

With the support of his family, band mates and friends, I have no doubt that the indestructable drummer will continue to press on and live the lyrics "Can't stop, I won't stop."
