Whats the deal with baseball?

Jerry Seinfeld will join the broadcast crew Tuesday for the New York Mets, a team that is 15 games below .500 and with little to laugh about this season. The comic is a longtime fan of the team. He will appear on the pregame show and then join Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling for the call of the game against the San Francisco Giants. Hopefully Keith Hernandez is not accused of spitting on Kramer and Newman again.

Seinfeld also broadcast a game between the Mets and Detroit on June 23, 2010. I found a best of segment from that game and he is actually a pretty good announcer. I think they would love to have him in the both for every game. However, with Jerry Seinfeld making two million dollars a year off of Seinfeld re-runs I am sure he doesn't need a new job.
