Jenna Marbles on Disney’s Errors [NSFW VIDEO]

A few months ago, Jenna Marbles posted a video that I really love, yet I find that I’ve never posted it. It’s all about Disney characters and how they’re really unrealistic. Anything from hair to clothing to disobeying parents is discussed in the video, and the result is hilarious.

I’ve never really put that much thought into Disney videos and the message that they send young people, but Jenna makes some very valid points. For example, we’re led to believe that anyone who is old, ugly, or fat is out to get us. My grandmother is old… should I fear her? Or what if I took a photo of Aerial into my hairstylist… could she duplicate the style? Better yet, why doesn’t Cinderella get a job and move out? That’s a really great question and it would seem Disney doesn’t want their female characters to have any set goals beyond getting married to the prince.

It’s no wonder the world was obsessed with William and Kate’s nuptials last year, myself included. We were watching the commoner get married to the prince – it was Disney come to life!
