Jared Leto – Dude Looks Like A Lady on Cover of ‘Candy’ Magazine

Before you comment on how attractive you believe that pink haired woman looks, take a second to REALLY look at the picture. Are you sure it's a woman? If you said it's not, your right! It's actually 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto, dressed in drag for his latest movie, Dallas Buyers Club and posing for the July issue of Candy magazine. In the film, Leto plays a HIV positive, transsexual woman alongside Matthew McConaughey, who is also HIV positive (in the movie). The duo attempts to smuggle in alternative medicines to treat the disease.

The story is roughly based on Ron Woodroof, who in 1986,  was diagnosed with full blown HIV/AIDS and given thirty days to live. After taking the only FDA approved drug and almost dying, he begins smuggling in and trying medicines deemed illegal in the states.

Leto went all the way with his role, waxing his legs, plucking his eyebrows and even dropping 30 pounds to play the role. He wasn't the only one to take the role so seriously though; you may have already seen the pictures of a super skinny McConaughey, who lost 38 pounds in order to play the role. 'Dallas Buyers Club' isn't scheduled to hit theaters until December 6, so you have plenty of time to either get your tickets or find something better to do. It does look like a decent movie though.
