Jack Daniel’s Named Most Popular Liquor in Texas

I am not a huge drinker of the stuff, but not shocked it came in first place.

It's nice sometimes to just sit back, relax and enjoy some nice alcohol. I tend to stick with beer. If I am going liquor, I tend to stick with tequila. That's just me, I love the stuff. I know some people hate tequila because they can't handle it. That's how I feel about whiskey, it hits me harder than any other liquor for some reason.

Now my old roommate was from Tennessee, which many consider one of the meccas of whiskey in America. Some may say Kentucky, but the granddaddy of whiskey in my opinion is Jack Daniels from Lynchburg, Tennessee. My old roommate would always want to play drinking games with Jack and I couldn't keep up. However, I would get him pretty trashed on tequila during football season, so it all evened out.

It may come as shock to some, but Jack Daniels Whiskey is the number one liquor for Texans. I will admit, it's hard to pinpoint a liquor for Texas, in my opinion. I guess it just depends on which bar you are at, but it looks like the majority love some Jack.
