Yesterday the internet was on fire with the thought of a brand new Guns N' Roses song being leaked. Now they may have tried to take the song down, but we all know how the internet works; once it's there it stays there. So you now have your chance to listen to the unreleased Guns N' Roses song "Going Down."

The song features the vocals of bassist Tommy Stinson with Axl Rose providing backup vocals. Stinson confirmed the song was legitimate on his Twitter yesterday but the tweet, along with the Soundcloud music stream and the YouTube version of the song, were all removed. Guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal also tweeted confirmation that the song was real, but that tweet was also removed.

GnR recently responded to constant requests for information on a new album by saying: "Generally speaking, at this time we have no information on tours, albums, or DVDs. When things get confirmed we will let you know. Thank you for your patience."

The big issue here is where this song came from. Some people are saying it is just a unreleased song from the 2008 album Chinese Democracy, while others hope that the song is a teaser for a new G N' R album. Either way, don't miss your chance to hear the song before someone removes it from all but the darkest corners of the internet.

Now you may not have heard this song either. It's titled "Ain't Going Down," which is a widely bootlegged song that was never officially released.
