Well another Dallas Mavericks season is in the books for me. While on the way out, the Houston Rockets decided to send out a tweet that many people are calling offensive. I wouldn't go that far, but it was messed up.

Game five was last night and the Mavericks lost to the Houston Rockets ending their postseason. I was just happy I was at game four when the Mavericks got their one lone playoff win this year. Well in the closing minutes of the game, the person who runs the Houston Rockets twitter decided to send this tweet out. Which has now been deleted, but several people were able to capture it before it got deleted.

As you can see, it's a gun emoji pointed at a horse head. After the game ended, the Dallas Mavericks replied to the tweet. Now, I know that @Stevallica on Twitter handles the Dallas Mavericks social media sites and I am glad he kept his cool in this situation. I want to personally thank him for not going down to a lower level like the Rockets did.

After realizing what they had done, the Rockets quickly apologized for the incident and deleted the tweet. The damage had been done, most people had already saved the tweet by this point.

Damn and here I thought the 'My Little Pony' tattoo I got was going to be good luck for the team this year. I went to three games this year. Mavericks versus Thunder, Grizzlies Versus Mavericks, finally the playoff game on Sunday. The Mavericks lost both regular season games I went to and I thought my tattoo was cursed.

However the 'My Little Pony' tattoo is undefeated in the playoffs so I am willing to take that. So that means someone should buy me season tickets for the playoffs, right? Hey, doesn't hurt to try.
