Those of you that listen to The Oath know I'm a huge fan of High On Fire and turns out they were in Tokyo set to play the night of Friday, March 11th when the earthquake and tsunami hit. None of the guys were hurt, but they were shaken up. Oddly enough, this is the 2nd natural disaster the band has survived within a span of sixteen days...they were in Christchurch, New Zealand during the 6.3-magnitude earthquake that hit there February 22nd.

Hopefully, that'll be the last earthquake (or any natural disaster for that matter) the guys have to deal with...'cause you know, they are from Oakland and that area has seen more than it's fair share of earthquakes.
