Georgetown Fires Live Bulldog Mascot

Summer training camps are under way and we already have our first cut of the off season

This week Georgetown announced that its live bulldog mascot-in-training, Jack Jr., no longer would be associated with the Hoyas program. The school explained in a news release that it had consulted with professional trainers and Jack Jr.’s breeder before determining that “returning to a home environment is what is best for J.J.”

This is stemming from an incident during the fall where Jack Jr. injured a small child. Well hopefully Jack Jr. finds a good home. If anyone at Georgetown wants to ship him to me, I already got a bulldog he can play with.
