Many argue George Clooney was the worst of all the Batman's, so what does he think about Ben Affleck taking over the role.

Allow me to defend George Clooney a little bit here. In my opinion he was not the worst Batman. Yes, he was in the worst Batman movie of all time, 'Batman and Robin'. This does not make him the worst caped crusader ever. George Clooney I could at least see being a cool Bruce Wayne.

Val Kilmer in my opinion is the worst Batman of all time. 'Batman Forever' is a better movie, but every time I see Val as Batman I cringe a little bit. Maybe its because in my childhood I had the best Batman ever, Michael Keaton. I just never got into Val as Batman or Bruce Wayne. Lets just agree that we only recognize Adam West, Michael Keaton and Christian Bale as Batman so far.

So a Batman and Superman movie has actually been in the works for awhile. It was actually going to come out after 'Batman and Robin', but that movie was so terrible they canned it. Cut to a few months ago when we heard we're going to get a new Batman and Superman movie. Cool is Christian Bale going to be Batman? Nope, Ben Affleck and this is the day the internet exploded.

I don't remember anybody being excited about this news. Everyone said he got his superhero shot with 'Daredevil' and he failed miserably at that. I know I wasn't excited at first, but then I saw this one critic say. If the internet existed when Michael Keaton was announced to play Batman, people would have lost their minds as well. Really, 'Mr. Mom' is going to be the next Batman? Get out of here. Well everyone has an opinion on the new Batman, even the former actors that were the caped crusader.

"I am the least qualified person to comment on anyone playing the role of Batman since I so terribly destroyed the part," he laughed, before adding: "I tend to look at it like this - let's just see what the movie is before everyone starts beating him up. He is a smart man, he knows what he is doing."
We will just have to wait and see with this one I guess. As a huge fan of Batman if is really hard for me to not judge a book by its cover in this scenario. Ben Affleck can not possibly be worse than Val Kilmer and this movie can't be worse than 'Batman and Robin', right?
