As the saying goes: "When you gotta go, you gotta go!"

On Tuesday night while calling the New York Yankees-Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball game for MLB Network, broadcaster Bob Costas really had to go.

After trying unsuccessfully to hit the head during a commercial break at Yankee Stadium in New York, he handed over the play-by-play responsibilities to color commentator John Smoltz in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Smoltz handled things just fine in Costas' absence. And to Costas' credit, he didn't try to hide the fact that he just needed to pee.
