With Marvel coming out with all of these television series, the guys at DC Comics are being left out. Time to bring in the face of DC comics, and in my opinion, the one, the only Batman.

From what I have found on the 'Gotham' television series, it sounds like Batman's version of the show 'Smallville.' 'Smallville' told the story of a teenage Superman and that is what Gotham aims to do with Batman. A 12-year-old Bruce Wayne will be one of "Gotham's" main characters, chairman Kevin Reilly told critics at Fox's winter press tour today, along with younger versions of classic "Batman" villains such as The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, and Catwoman.

"This is an origin story," Reilly said, describing it as "an operatic soap that has a slightly larger-than-life quality to it" set in a "Gotham teetering on the edge." Reilly would go on to promise the final scene of the last episode will have Batman putting on his cape.

I am a huge Batman fan and I can promise that I will be checking this one out.
