'Surprise' is the second single released to radio from the band's new album The Sun Comes Out Tonight. In typical Filter fashion, the band followed up the energetic lead single 'What Do You Say' with a slow song.

'Surprise' has that trademark Filter sound - there's no denying who you're listening to as soon as the song gets going. Not surprising (no pun intended), since Richard Patrick told ARTISTdirect.com the song almost wrote itself.
