The winters in Texas make it easy to forget that other areas of the country still have snow. The Rocky Mountains get frigid, and wildlife has to do what they can to survive a hard winter. Some cows were apparently trying to seek shelter over the winter and apparently made their way into an old ranger cabin, but that’s where they got stuck and froze to death.

About six cows found their way into the cabin, but the delicious bovine isn’t known for being smart. They weren’t alone, either. In addition to the frozen cows in the cabin, there are several more scattered around the outside of the building.

Now the forest service is faced with the task of removing the animals, and it may take explosives to do the job. They’ve also considered burning down the building. Whatever they decide to do, they want to act quickly before the cows start thawing.

What would your solution be?
