When it comes to modern death metal, Dying Fetus is easily one of the most influential bands in the scene. You could make the case that bands like Job For A Cowboy, Whitechapel and a slew of others that emerged in the last decade owe a lot to the Maryland metal veterans.

Drummer Trey Williams gave me a holler for last Saturday's (6/30) edition of the mighty Oath to talk (among other things) about the new album, European crowds (and beer) and the pressure of stepping into one of the most high-profile gigs in metal.
