There have been allegations of doping since he first won the Tour de France in 1998. Even after his retirement, they wouldn’t stop going after him. His teammates turned on him, and it seemed like his uphill battle had him climbing a mountain.

So, Armstrong decided that after over a decade of battling with the USADA, he will throw in the towel. That means he will lose his seven Tour de France titles and be banned from cycling for life. Many will see this as him admitting his guilt, but could it be that Armstrong is just tired? He says that it’s taken a major toll on his foundation and family. Maybe enough was enough.
