Just in time for today's release of A Different Kind Of Truth, their first album together since 1984, David Lee Roth had a sit down with the Van Halen brothers to talk about their upbringing and how they got their start in music.

It's actually an interesting interview and although I knew Eddie actually played drums before guitar, I didn't know that both brothers played piano first. Eddie also goes into depth about not being able to read music and how his instructors would praise him for his "interpretation" of the classics.

If you're a Van Halen fan, it's definitely worth taking nine minutes out of your day to check out the interview.
