The Stars are fighting to make the playoffs right now and stuff like this is unacceptable.

Allow me to take you into my anger from last night. The Ottawa Senators have not scored a goal in two games. They have been outscored 10-0, this was a winnable game for the Stars. They just had to play smart and do the right things. In the first period, they had a huge blunder.

If you're not a hockey fan, I will do my best to explain what happened. So the Ottawa Senators had a penalty called on them. In hockey, the play continues until the Senators touch the puck. Pretty much every team will pull their goalie in this situation. If the Senators touch the puck, play is dead right there. No way they can possibly score.

Unless the Dallas Stars decide for SOME reason to pass backward towards the goal. That's right, Jiri Hudler did a drop pass and it went right into the Dallas Stars net. Since no one on the Senators touched it. Good goal and that put the Senators up 2-0 at that point. The Stars would go on to lose 3-2.

If you think this goal is bad. It was the ten year anniversary of one of the worst sports bloopers of all time on another Dallas Stars goal earlier this year. Still trying to decide which one is worse, but the Stars need to focus if they want a shot at that wild card spot.
