Always double check when ordering custom apparel.

Never been a big fan of custom jerseys. I always like to support my favorite player. For the Dallas Stars, I currently wear a Jamie Benn shirt to games. One couple decided to get custom jerseys to show their Stars fandom. Sadly they made a huge mistake when they did this.

When you order a custom jersey online, it has the default [Your name] box. According to Daniel Barthold, his wife forgot to delete that when ordering the jerseys. So they showed up to their doorstep like this(seen below). They did have some logic in this though.

They just wanted a jersey with numbers on the back and no name. They thought if they left it blank, with the default text, it would be blank. Turns out at the online shop they put whatever is in there, onto a jersey.

The Barthtolds were originally going to remove the 'Your Name' part of the jersey. They have gotten a good laugh about and are going to keep them. I hope to see them at my next Dallas Stars game.
