Last night I was irritated by some dogs down the street who didn’t seem to want to stop barking. It didn’t last long, and there isn’t usually a problem, so I didn’t really think much about it. For some neighbors in Rhode Island, they have an issue with their neighbor’s bird making too much noise, and cussing while he’s doing it. Now it’s landing the bird’s owners in court.

Willy’s owner, Lynne Taylor, says that he’s just saying, “Knock it off.” Others think differently, claiming at the bird is dropping the F-bomb and saying “F’ng Wh-re.”

To make matters more interesting, the neighbors who seem to take the brunt of the bird’s tongue lashing are Kathleen Melker and Craig Fontaine. Fontaine is Taylor’s ex-husband.

It might make sense that Taylor would train the bird to throw profanities toward her ex’s new girlfriend, but is the bird really swearing like they claim he is?

Regardless of what the bird is saying, Taylor is being accused of violating an animal noise ordinance and may get a small fine.

What do you think? Is the bird really swearing? If you'll be offended by the language this bird is accused of, think twice before cranking those speakers.
