Courtney Love is set to grace the small screen next month, appearing in a Lifetime movie about the famous Menendez Brothers case. A trailer for Menendez: Blood Brothers from Consequence of Sound can be viewed above.

In the clip, you can see Love as Kitty Menendez, the mother of the teen brothers. For those who don't remember the case, teens Lyle and Erik Menendez were eventually found guilty during a high profile trial of murdering their parents. The film takes a deeper look at the abuse the boys suffered at the hands of their father while their mother supposedly looked the other way.

In addition to Love, Nico Tortorella, Myko Olivier and Benito Martinez have been cast in the film, which was executive produced and directed by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. Menendez: Blood Brothers is set to premiere on Lifetime at 8PM ET/PT on June 11.

Love continues to add to acting resume, reportedly also being cast in Lifetime's remake of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as the upcoming indie drama The Long Home starring James Franco. The singer is also working on her memoir and has plans to return to music after the book is completed.
