AFI is currently preparing for the October 22 release of their new album Burials, which has already spawned two singles. The first, "I Hope You Suffer," has currently settled at number 40 on the U.S. Rock Charts. Their latest single, called "17 Crimes," just proves how diverse the group can be. The song feels completely different than "I Hope You Suffer" and a remixed version will be featured at the end of the upcoming film The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones. The films soundtrack, available tomorrow (August 20), will also feature the song on it.

Burials will be AFI's ninth studio album and will be hitting stores October 22, but if you plan on hitting up an AFI show before then, the chances of you hearing a couple of the new songs from the album are pretty good. The band sets out on a North American tour on September 12, but the two closest dates to us are still a pretty little drive away, October 17 and 18 in Houston and Austin.
