Celebrate the Return of Old School Metal With Night Demon’s Video for ‘Screams in the Night’

Music is cyclical. Just wait around long enough and your favorite style will most likely make a comeback at some point.

Fans of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal that originated in the late 70's have to be licking their chops with all of the emerging bands playing traditional metal these days. I'm one of those fans, by the way, and Night Demon is the latest band I've stumbled upon that I just can't get enough of.

Their full-length debut album, Curse of the Damned, has been a daily listen since I got my paws on it. Admittedly, it took a few listens at first before I bought into what Night Demon were doing but at this point, I'm all in.

The thing I dig most about the video for "Screams in the Night" is that it looks like it could've been filmed during the heyday of the NWOBHM, tacking a few miles onto the nostalgia trip.
